Hello! My name is Meagan.

A native of Little Falls, MN, I was born and raised on a farm. It is there that I first learned about hard work and versatility. The first time I walked out on stage was in a middle school production of Wizard of Oz, and I realized quickly I had found my passion. My senior year of high school I was awarded the Fine Arts Student of the Year, and I knew my future was set. I then went on to graduate from Central Lakes College with an Associate of Arts Degree, took a two year break to be the afterschool theatre department head at Brainerd High school, and then went back to school to Minnesota State University, Moorhead,  where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre with a triple emphasis of acting, directing, and technical theatre.

I'm a very intuitive person, and I strive to find the truth in every piece I get my hands on. I'm not afraid to take on projects that scare me. The harder they are, the more I learn from them and the more I grow in the process. A greater knowledge of self, and how I can apply that to my craft, is one of the most important things I strive to get out of each piece I work on. I like a good challenge and am willing to try anything twice, as long as it doesn't kill me the first time.

Since moving to the Twin Cities in Feburary 2012, I've had the pleasure of working and exploring with amazing companies like the History Theatre, Bloomington Civic Theatre, Theatre Unbound, Theatre in the Round, Chameleon Theatre Circle, Live Action Set, Mission Theatre Company, and Open Window Theatre. I'm grateful and excited to be adding Theatre Coup d'Etat and Savage Umbrella to that list in the upcoming months.
